Title: Drill Bit Size for Titanic Windows?
Post by: ebt12 on May 03, 2018, 10:33:03 pm
Hello all,

I recently purchased a Revell 1/570 model of the Titanic, and I would like to light it. Does anyone know which size drill but is needed to drill out the portholes? It would probably be one of the sizes number 60 to 80.

Thanks!

Patrick

Hi Patrick
Best bet would be to buy a set of micro drill bits and decide which one fits in the existing depressions best. The sets are pretty cheap and you can get them from most hardware shops (depending on where your located)
Alternatively, measure the size of the existing window depressions and determine the suitable bit size from that
