Title: I found an Iwata paint limiter accessory for the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush
Post by: Decoman on July 10, 2018, 02:25:19 pm
I was watching a recent Paul Buznik video, and I noticed that he somehow had found a paint limiter for his Iwata Eclipse airbrush, so I went to look for such a product.

I had previously contacted both Tamiya and Iwata for finding such a paint limtiter, but iirc, none of them bothered to help me out.

So.. I found one at the lowest price in UK here:

Edit: It looks like the forum will eat up the rest of the forum post once I type the special character for the pound on my keyboard.

Price = 27.98 GBP (23.32 Excluding VAT) + 4 GBP shipping in Europe

I received the extra part in the mail today. Happy times. :)

I've always felt that the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS is much too powerful for small models, so a paint limiter would be nice to have. Btw, Iwata says on their website that ideal psi is in the range of 25-35.

Trying to screw on the new handle part was surprisingly tricky, but finally it all aligned well and screwing it in was easy in the end.
