Title: Hasegawa Voyager probe 1:48
Post by: Decoman on October 04, 2018, 02:47:34 pm
According to Scalemates this kit is from 2012.

I saw this kit this evening browsing a Japanese online store hoping to find something I was looking for, and apparently this kit is fairly cheap, even on eBay. :)

Size probably isn't that large, still I thought this looked like an ok model.
I am reading somewhere that Eduard has some photo etch for this kit, which sounds great!

I am curious to learn if anyone here has an opinion as to this kit's accuracy in representing this space vehicle.

Here's a couple of images showing the Eduard photo etch set.

It really looks like me that you would want some special or heh expensive photo etch bending tools for this.  ;D

I just noticed, the long mast seems twisted on the kit illustration, I wonder having photo etch parts for that mast would work out if giving a twist to the photo etch mast.
