Hello everyone.   I have just returned to modelling after a 30 year absence and can't wait to start my first model, TOS Enterprise 1/350.   Living in Brisbane Australia I have to wait for my model, lights and after market graphics etc.   Looking forward to my project and talking with other members of SFMA!!   :) :)

Welcome, you've come to the tight place, lots have already build or are building their TOS 1/350 so you'd be able to find  help and feedback with that build in abundance especially since we're a bunsh of helpful guys n gals. :D .

Welcom To the SMFA looking forward to seeing your builds as a piece of advice i would recommend doing the 1/1000 first after a 30 yr absence just to brush up on your skills these 1/350 kits are widowmakers. I wish you luck

Welcome Aboard. I too recommend starting with something a little smaller. I would choose the 18 inch Enterprise.
Not that accurate but fun to practice with. I buy my super narrow masking tape from a company in Austrailia.
My builds are becoming international builds. LOL

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome.  Always very happy to take your advice.  I am getting some practice on a Titanic model with my own design for add on lights.   I will check to see were I can get a small Enterprise and get  more practice before my 1/350 build.   I have enjoyed every build to be seen on You Tube.  Looking forward to chatting and getting to know you all.   :)

Great to hear your back into the hobby. Lot's of exciting stuff going on around here I think you'll enjoy. Have fun and jump right in the action :)
If It's a model kit, I like it already.
