Finally, once again I was outbid on an Atomic Models Aries 1B resin kit that came up for bids....   (surprise, surprise!)

So in a fit of despair I bought this paper kit of the famous moon shuttle instead....  I've never dealt with any of these b4, so I have no clue what all to expect, but when I think of the $250 price difference I'm sure a little mistake here or there won't matter as much.

Supposedly builds up to almost 8" and the sample photos look perty good.....     :b

I'd scan each sheet so you can reprint on card stock in case you mess up.
Interior looks like it might be hard on the eyes to put together.

Not a bad idea on the scanning....

The only instructions that came with this is a URL to a blog in a foreign language I cannot read.....   FUN!

I had the 1/29 X-Wing tagged for many months Kenny.....    The UK seller was asking $72 + S/H. Then he suddenly offered it (and still does) for about $56 + free shipping.

(Looks like the price is trickling up again).

More Ships....   YEAH!

Not exactly sci-fi (again), but I do love these old WWII era warships   :b

This little IJN Destroyer is a tough looking little fighter (methinks). I wish someone could tell me though, why are models of this genre so much more expensive when they are Japanese Imperial Navy V.S. American, German, British, etc?

Production costs must be about the same as counterparts, and I'm running out of patience!!!! I'd love to lay my hands on an IJN heavy cruiser and maybe one of the carriers, but the asking prices out there are nuts.

Also got the BSG Raptor. In an earlier post I think I wrote that Free-Time hobby was the best price around.... I think someone will discredit my claim there soon enough....  After going through the process I discovered Free-Time was charging me $10 per delivery. I also ordered the Weapons Add-On kit, so I wrote the owner and told him to ship these two kits together, (obviously for same build). They failed miserably....  not sure if I will cancel the other order now....   need to whisper in someones ear AGAIN!

Thanks Kenny....   Turns out Free-Time Hobbies do not have a sense of humor, or an outstanding customer service department! Cancelled the Weapons Add-on order and found it about $5 cheaper on evilbay...

Check out Advantage Hobby. I put the Raptor and the armament kit in the cart and the total with standard ground shipping came to $64.88. The Raptor is $43.75 and the armament kit is $16.14. Shipping is $4.99.

I'd be ordering it myself if I hadn't just shelled out for my Moebius Michael Myers Halloween build kit and the Moebius Penguin kit.
