Those of you who also like the old WWII era warships have probably noted how much more expensive the IJN ship models are compared to their British, American, and German counterparts? I was happy when an eBay seller accepted my offer of $72 for the 1/350 Mikuma....  This baby is packed with detail   :b

Not familiar with this ship. What engagements was it involved in?

I found a few good deals this week I think. On Sunday I found the Vulcan shuttle reissue for $8 at Half Price Books. Then on Monday, A customer sold a Revell History Makers Thor and Jupiter IRBM kit which I picked got for $10. I should have picked up another Vulcan shuttle so I could paint two versions of it. My unbuilt model collection now stands at 42. I need to get busy!
