Star Trek into darkness Enterprise
« on: January 04, 2014, 03:41:48 pm »
Hi guys, I just recently finished my Revell 1/500 Star trek Into Darkness Enterprise. Instead of linking pics im going to link the video i posted on youtube documenting the entire build process, not the song i wanted to use for the video but i had to choose one from a list on youtube, but it seems to work well. Hope you guys like it. Take care, Eric.

Looks great, a nice clean build of the latest incarnation of the Enterprise.

Am amazed how well the ST3 Theme fits it.

Thank you all for the kind words, i really took my time with this one, one tip that i used that was really helpful was washing off the parts before painting, the thought had never occurred to me before but it makes all too much sense. I saw a few people were asking about paints, i used all testors sprays for the priamry finish. I started with a primer semi-gloss, then a flat white, and then applied a Gloss Pearlcote. I then did all my detail painting with brushwork and sealed the model in a clear glosscote. Thanks again for the replies guys.

So well done.

Will be referring back to this when I eventually get round to starting my own.

Thanks for posting.
