Hello from Michigan
« on: October 05, 2012, 08:04:20 am »
Hi everyone,
Let's see,  I am into almost every type of model building possible and I need to trim things way down.  I started as a kid building the typical stuff,  got into wargaming, that led to Historical Figure models, then into Garage Kit modeling, back into plastic models (armor, sci fi, etc) and now I am trying to stick with actually completeing something I start.
Im not big into making things 100% accurate, I go more for a look and feel than anything else.  My fatal flaw is having big ideas pop into my head when working on something and not being able to actually finish it before I lose interest.  Anyone else have that problem?
Well that about sums it up.
Thanks
Steve

Welcome to the forums! I also suffer form big ideas, to little time. My particular fascination is lighting up small scale Star Trek kits. It's a pain in the butt, and I often shelve them for log periods of time when I run into an issue, or get a new shiny to play with  8^P  This is a great place to get inspiration though, so take a look and have fun modeling!
I play, I putty, I spray, and pray! Putty, sand, repeat...
All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray...
