Very neat and tidy surgery there Boyd!
The parts look like they were molded that way  :o

Question for you, Where your light comes through the holes in the etch,
do the decals cover these holes?
If so, do you need to back up the decal with crystal clear to support it?
Are you planning to put some figures in the ship?  Thanks Boyd.  :)

Ooooooo!  I think I may buy that kit!

Jeff.

The decals do cover the holes. My plan is to insert some short pieces of fiber optic into the holes. I'll then spray some clear coat on to hold them in place. I have the Crows nest resin figures of the Robinson Family in their Silver suits that will go in the Freezer tubes. The B9 Robot I'm putting in is the one made by Johnny Lightning. It's the closest in scale I could find.
If It's a model kit, I like it already.

I am glad you are working on this Boyd. It is one I plan on building later this year, and I will follow all you do for some great pointers. I am new here, but have learned so much from watching your youtube videos.

You made short work of those!  As always, very clean work.  Eye candy for all of us to enjoy.   :)

Thanks Guys,

Tonight I did some more work on the Navigation And Flight Control Console of the Jupiter 2.

I installed some small motors to get the spinning radar screen effects that I wanted to do.

Lot's more work to do with this area but off to a good start. Here is a link to a short video showing the screens working and some more details of my plans.

The spinning radar screens really take it over the top.  Great job Boyd!
