ready to go, still sealed

exactly on time

broke the seal

runway base and decals

if only I could read Japanese

instruction manual

clear sprue

the rest of the sprues

the four little landing loaders

what it's supposed to look like when I'm done

or

I will be putting the parts into the soaking bath before I go to work tomorrow, so I can dive in on Saturday.
My plan is an out of box build using the included runway base and loading speeders, still debating wheels up/down version.

I hope everyone enjoys this, and all the other builds for the Spring Group Build!

You are good to go Bob. One thing you might consider is making your pics a little smaller so the side bars of the thread are not expanded out where you can't see all of the text.
If It's a model kit, I like it already.

Hi Bob, which category do you intend to place your build?

Hi Bob, which category do you intend to place your build?
The kit includes the runway base, the four landing loaders, as well as a clear display stand, so I'm planning
out of box, would like to glue runway base to a piece of foam core for rigidity, if that's OK, if not I'll wait to do that after the contest ends.
what's in the kit

Robert,
I think the Thunderbirds just rock and what a great choice to do for the contest!!!  If anyone on SFMA hasn't seen the subject you should check it out.  At the time, never before was so many models used for a TV production.  Excellent and I can't wait to see more!

BUILD ACTUALLY STARTED.
Well, work has been murder lately,
seems all I do is work and sleep, but I
actually found time to start today.

I fit and glued the fuselage using
pro weld, my glue of choice, and so for the fit is great,
with only minimal filling and sanding will be required.

the inboard wing section top view

bottom clear button is mounting lug for display stand that I may or may not use

 body and wing dry fit

again tight seams, a little glaze and they will begone for good
