To say I let myself get carried away is an understatement. I may fill with apoxie sculpt and redrill smaller holes. I did a test on an old kit piece and it worked out nicely.

A fellow Reliant builder! I dare say, we shall win the day! lol! good start! Hope your build has less headaches than mine has caused!

Except you're doing a much larger, extensive SCRATCHBUILD  :o  I need to get back at it but I did make the mistake of drilling too-large holes for my windows so I need to Apoxie Sculpt them and re-drill.

Well, I am glad that you are able to redo the work you are unhappy with.  On a positive note, it goes to show how much fun you were/are having, and that is the number one in my book!  Keep at it!   :)
That model really tied the room together.

That's true thanks for the positive reinforcement! I hope to have time in the next day or two to fill and redrill. My 9-5 gets in the way of my hobby time ha.

Thanks! I actually had time on a break today and I managed to fill in all of the window holes along the saucer rim. Now I impatiently wait 24hrs for it to fully cure.

Hmmmm...A bad window hole....Bin there, bought the T- shirt, got coupons for next time!!
It's just as well you found a working fix for a less than desirable
window hole Dave.  You may need it again on another ship!  ;)
Almost guaranteed to foul up at least the odd one here and there.  ;D

Ooooooo!  I think I may buy that kit!

Aye, damage control is easy, now reading Klingon?! That's hard!  Just a little ingenuity and patience you can fix most anything. Good luck with the repair.

Jeff I saved my large windows hole for that 1/350 refit I have yet to buy  ;)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I learned a couple valuable lessons about not trying to go as fast as other builders and Apoxie Sculpt is awesome.

And to Brad, Kaplah!

Great start, Dave!  Perfect subject.  The Reliant is a fav of mine too.  I can't wait to see more.  Those paint masks will work great for it and I can't wait to see more!
