My entry for the Big Spring Build, (and my first build in this forum!) The Moebius 1/32 Colonial Viper from the original Battlestar Galactica.

This has always been one of my favorite ships since I was a kid; I am going to love watching it come together!  I wish you fun and success with the build and the contest.   8)
That model really tied the room together.

I've been eyeballing this kit at the hobby shop.
It'll be great to see it built.
Really glad you're diving in here Randal!!
Have fun with that Viper!  :)
Ooooooo!  I think I may buy that kit!

Is it too late to say that I'll be modified a bit with the addition of some lighting and mounting it on a pole "in flight"?  This puts it in the "Modified" category I believe.

Whilst awaiting the Paragrafix etch set I indulged in a bit of "fondling" of the parts, test fitting and working out where to drill out holes for the wiring. And masking the canopy. For the most part the fit is very good.

Thanks Fumblethumbs! The detailing is nice, rather like the Finemolds Star Wars kits you can recognise some of the kit peices used as "greeblies" on the original.  :)

a fun old gal, I think the old vipers had lots of character. Good luck!
