I couldnt get what I really wanted in time but found a baby C to go with my baby D and will do them with a display. Not sure if that will count as a diorama or just box build....up to you guys 8)

I have these kits in the stash, so I look forward to your builds.  I wish you fun and success with the builds and the contest!   8)
That model really tied the room together.

Thanks for the well wishes. I've been planning this for a while and most of the work will be the lighted display. I want to do the scene with the C just coming out of the rift from " Yesterday's Enterprise"

That would be a diorama.
If It's a model kit, I like it already.

I have the D but not the C, but want it. I'm glad these two are in the run, as I'm working on the whole 1:2500 series ATM (well, I was until the contest that is!)

Good luck and looking forward to your build!

That would be a diorama.

That's what I figured. I'm deep in the search for appropriate pics to get printed on transparent for the walls.

Well I got started on the Baby E-C finally. (Been crazy busy the past couple days) Washed then a lil trimming and sanding. I haven't done this small of a model before and boy does it take a delicate touch. The dry fitting is looking surprisingly good but I' ll have a few small seems. Watching STNG Yesterday's Enterprise to get the proper motivation.

The smaller ships have been giving me fits; I can see issues that most probably will not, but that doesn't stop me from taking Mr. Sanding material to the parts over... and over... and over!  hehe
That model really tied the room together.
