Hi Warthog,

I can view your image if I open it up in a separate tab. I think you copied a different link. Before you post, you can preview the text and image. Good luck with your build

I like it!  As I have said in other threads, this is one of my favorites.  Looking forward to your progress with it.  I wish you fun and success, with the build and the contest!   8)
That model really tied the room together.

Hi Warthog, what category are you intending for the contest?
If It's a model kit, I like it already.

Hi Boyd

Sorry to everyone for not being around much but other commitments have taken a priority but back and with some updates.

The kit will be box stock with just outer weathering/paint etc.

@fumblethumbs.. I got the handle from one of my favourite Aircraft, the Thunderbolt A10 "Warthog"

@The Model Dude.. Many thanks and looking forward to building her     :)

@Billski.. I'm not sure what i am doing wrong as I upload in 800x600.. Whats the best way to get the pictures to show in my build? any help will be appreciated   :)

Ok so here is where I am with the build,

All parts given a wash to degrease and then a coat of primer. Main parts removed from the Sprue's and cleaned up.
Larger parts assempled and cleaned up around the joints ready for sub-assembly. Later the major parts will be put together and all given another coat of primer..

More to follow soon  :)

All major parts put together and another coat of primer. A going over with some ZeroPaints black along the panels and details then ready for another coat of white to tone it down just an incy bit  :)  Added maskol liquid before the coat of white and once dry a good rubbing down to reveal the chips.. Lots more wethering to do and engine details etc.

I really like the chipping technique you used Warthog using the maskol, it looks fantastic! I actually had to google it, and found the Humbrol site that has lots of cool videos on techniques...thanks!
