Go big or go home. Here's my entry. Will have brass and lights. Not sure yet about paint masks or decals. We'll see. I have the masks too.

Looking forward to this build. I can't bring myself to start one of mine (I have four of these kits) I keep thinking retirement, but will watch your build for inspiration!

Onward and upward! Mocking up saucer walls for material removal. Hope to have that all done today.

Thanks for looking. Well, I think I got enough done today. Tomorrow I hope to have an "Altered Bridge" and a good jump on the saucer lighting.

Hi Lufty,
I got this kit for Xmas.  Couldn't believe how big it is compared to 1/2500 1701-A.
The saucer is about the size of large pizza pan.
Made me laugh at the difference.
Couldn't help but think the 1/2500 was thinking, "That's what I want to be when I grow up!"
