Hey guys! Thanks for the encouragement! The torpedo bays are probably next!

ok, got some measurements and started on the aft ventral section. I'm planning to add some more structural support as I go. More details will come when I get some reference pics of the area.

Measured, traced and cut out one half and tacked it with a little CA glue to trace the other half. Worked like a charm!

glued and clamped...

Removed the unnecessary Material from the lower saucer half...

Now some work on the torpedo launcher. Measured and scaled up the Amt part's general shape...

Details...

lol! Thanks Kenny. If I don't win this thing, then that is because I am competing against a lot of very talented modelers, & a lot of fantastic builds!

Ok got some more done tonight after my wife insisted. lol

Looking at the reference photos, I found an extra line that needed to be scribed near the lip of the launcher tube... Tiny, stupid , little line...

Launchers glued on...

Began adding some more detail...

That is some great detail you got on photon torpedo launchers. This should be one great looking Reliant once finished.

I am continually amazed at how easy you make it look.  The detail is stunning.

I am full agreement with everyone else here; this thread is becoming a highlight of model building.  You are doing amazing work!  Keep at it, and keep having fun!   8)
That model really tied the room together.
