D'oh, missed this reply.

Honestly after a week+ of walking past it, it doesn't look so bad as long as you don't overly scrutinize it.  Yeah there are screw ups, but that's life.  Gotta learn from your mistakes.

Your D7 turned out really nice br0t!!  I've yet to build a model without multiple flaws.  You're right though, the flaws tend to fade with the passage of time and the model looks better and better.  I'd say you have a real nice successful build here!!  Thanks for the building tips in your final wrap up.  Well done my man!!
Ooooooo!  I think I may buy that kit!

Good build! Thanks for sharing.

I'm with the rest of the guys re: imperfections. They happen and they suck when they do, but we notice them more than anyone else because we're aware of them. It's just a part of what we do.

I've never built a kit without imperfections, and anyone I've shown has never seen them. So there's that.

Excellent build and it just gets better from here :)
