Flashing machine gun effect kit

Found this while searching google, it's a flashing machine gun effect board for re aircraft could be used in a viper or pulse phaser effect?

That could work for model kits where you might want rapid-fire light effects.

However with that board, its input voltage is rated between 5-volts to 7.4-volts.  Many people tend to go with 9-volts or 12-volts for their model ligthing projects.  To use this board within a 9- or 12-volt environment, you'd have to get a DC-DC step-down converter board for it in order to avoid burning it out.

Dam didn't think of that & I've already ordered 1! 😨 so I need to get that conveyor board and then I can use a 9volt battery or 12 volt power lead & it'll work

Here's what I've used.  You can probably find something a bit cheaper (others might have more XP on this than I) - this one can supply up to 3 amps.  Might want to search ebay too:

UBEC DC/DC Step-Down (Buck) Converter - 5V @ 3A output
