Life size busts
« on: September 30, 2016, 08:33:55 am »
I'm new to the forums and do mainly figure models and busts. I'll be pestering you guys on all manner of refit details and questions soon! Here's some of the work I've done. The figures I do are mainly females wearing little or nothing so I won't post pictures here..... 8)

Sideshow Ghost Rider I modified to look a bit more realistic with LEDs and a custom circuit.

Wow! Those are really good!
I play, I putty, I spray, and pray! Putty, sand, repeat...
All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray... All putty and no spray makes TOS models green and gray...

Frankenstein is a vinyl bust, the rest are resin.

Outstanding work! How did you do Batman's eyes? Are they decals?

Both Batman and Pam have glass eyes.

Great stuff, and second what others have said about the paint jobs.

Got more pics and/or links to other ones you've done?

Here's a link to my Sideshow Ghost Rider. He's a prepaint, and came with a cool clear cast flamed skull head. That seemed fairly dull, so I took a 15" long small diameter drill bit and drilled up through the base and his leg/body into his head. I ran 4 orange/yellow LEDs up into the base of the skull and had a buddy of mine make a custom flickering circuit that's installed in the base.

Most of the rest of the stuff I do is females wearing a whole lot of nothing so I won't post here. I finished my 1/1 Predator recently and I'll see if I can get a good picture of him tomorrow.
