Hello from Texas
« on: March 22, 2017, 11:08:18 pm »
Greetings from Texas.
Hope to be able to contribute in some capacity, although maybe only slightly.
I'll post pics of some work done soon as I can figure out how to pull them off the phone.
Talk soon .
Dale

Hi Dale,
greetings from NJ and welcome to the forum. I just joined recently too. I thought that wouldn't be contributing much if anything either but after my first post (Romulan Warbird Incident) I got some great feed back from some of the more veteran people on here and even inspired one them to try out a paint scheme on their project. So you never know what you may come with that no one has thought of or tried. Looking forward to seeing some of your work from deep in the heart of Texas.
 ;D

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your little quest. Captain Ahab has to go hunt his whale!

Many thanks for the welcome guys.
Ive got the big NX-01 from Polar Lights that has been patiently waiting for the light kits to get into my price range. So that ought to be starting soon.
More to come

Welcome Aboard, Dale!! And, "Howdy" from a fellow Texan! (Okay, a transplanted one, but a Texan nonetheless!)  ;D

This is a great forum and full of friendly people! I have really learned alot since coming on board here and everyone is quick to offer solutions and ideas, so dive right in!

If you already have some builds under you belt, you can post pics of them in the Modeler's Gallery! (I love those shots!) For your "currently on the bench" or Work In Progress (WIP) there is the a, uh, WIP section!  ;D

Whatever you do, I look forward to seeing your work!

Steve

Thank you Steve,  been "haunting" the site as much as can. Lots of beautiful work being done on here.
I'm still having problems loading my pics but will endeavour to get it figured out so I can get the pics up

No problem Dale! Saves me from having to squint as much. ;)

Very nice work! I was going to say it just needs a bullet hole, but then I saw the one in the passenger windscreen.
