Fantastic work!  I don't know if I can drill that many holes again, but the big SD just might call my name.  Best part about using FO, no light leaks!

Truly an inspiring amount of work and a fantastic result!

I could use my Tamiya Handy drill to drill the holes, but I don't know if I can afford the cash for all the broken drill bits I would go through. ;)

She's done and dusted at last.

After 6 months of drilling, gnashing of teeth and a lot of swearing here we are.

One quick wee picture and I'll head over to the gallery section.

Very nice indeed! Question: are those switches in the glass? Or is that even glass? If so how'd you drill it out for them?

Nice, buti it would help if they would state the actual millimeters of those drill bits rather than some arbitrary number.

My digital calipers tell me they are 0.33mm dia.

Thanks. Maybe it's an American thing to assign arbitrary numbers to things instead of their actual measurements? It would be easier to surrender to the metric system than to continue this, be it drill bits or shoe sizes.

Thanks guys.

Sorry for taking so long to reply but it's been headless chicken time at home recently so I just haven't had the time to reply.

RaveN - the mirror is an acylic one and dirt cheap as well (only 4GBP on Ebay). I first drilled the required holes for the mounting rod and switches in the base and used those holes to mark the underside of the mirror and used a "Step Cone Drill" to drill out the correct sized holes.
