JPG Productions 1/72 Galaxy Quest Surface Pod
« on: July 28, 2017, 03:25:09 am »
A quick weekend project.

Great little resin kit, not a huge number of parts but goes together well.

The parts.

The base.

Pod halves together.

And the finished Pod and base.

Probably took about 6 hours overall to complete.

Comments always welcome.

  • All I ask is a tall ship & a star to steer her by.

Must RESIST!! Must Have!!!

Well done, mad monk! I've not seen this one even offered! Details!

I love the diaroma and the Berillium Spheres strune about! Good weathering and detail!

Well done!!

Thanks Steve,

Its a nice little kit by JPG Productions, run by Jimi Glancy in Ohio.  They are available through Starship Modeler.

The castings on the shuttle haves are very thin so some care is needed when cleaning up and you need to play with the legs to get them to sit right but other than that a fun few hours.
