K't'inga
« on: August 14, 2017, 04:14:33 pm »
Here are the finished pics of the Ugh! Models 1/1000 scale K't'inga kit with my own modifications to more closely resemble the IKS Amar as seen at the start of STTMP. I also added a custom base with the V'Ger cloud emblazoned on it.

Work in progress pics can be seen here:

I can just hear the Klingon musical score in my head looking at the pictures. Excellent work!

Man, that looks great!

Put V'ger in the background and it would look like the movie! Just fantastic!

Superb! Very nice indeed.

Makes me want to get the finger out and start my 1/537 scale kit that's been in "The Stash" for years.

That's got to be the best K't'inga that I've seen! Excellent work there!

Excellent Job, Steve! Very Well done!

I love #8 that kinda duplicates the Klingon formation in TMP! Nice photomanipulation!

Again, Well Done!

Thanks! Speaking of the 1/537 kit I built that one too some years ago. Of course, I just couldn't resist taking a picture of the two together:

As Karve said, excellent job!  Really enjoy your paintwork.  Even if it's not exact to the movie versions, it's the intent that counts.  You've done a masterful job with it and the D7, which also looks to be spot on!

Very nice, and the V-Ger graphic on the base is a nice touch! Round2 needs to make a 1:1000 K'Tinga.
