10.5 foot...so pretty big..it's going to be a kind of scooter, but gyroscopically balanced so that i can stay upright at all times 😊 the guys doing the gyro system and electric motor tell me that it will
Go in upwards of 125 mph, but I'll be tickled to get 60 😆

Seating for the lightcycle, trying to stay as faithful to the original concept as possible,  but this is the basic idea

This is one of my all-time favorite vehicles. Even in it's basic cgi form it was just.... cool! I loved the idea when the movie came out and I still think it's one of the best looking lightcylces. Even better than the updated version. Great work though. I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished. Have you decided on a final color?
Mark.

Figuring out the interior seating/crouching layout based on the screen grabs, gonna try and get as close as possible and still be semi comfortable

I had a chance to spend a little time with the lightcycle project yesterday. I removed the molds and popped out the main fiberglass body parts. On the top hatch, I applied 1/4" graphic tape to "find" the approximate location of the canopy on the cycle, it's immediately recognizable now, so I took a couple photos. Then I removed the molds from the main body, took a few pics ,and set it on end to see how the hatch looked in close proximity of the body, I'm happy with the results, but i still need to do some grinding to get a great fit, then I'll drop the hatch onto the body and keep it that way to make it stay true to shape and fit. Finally, I laid the main body down horizontal and stood on a small table to get an odd angle photo, I'll be using this one in Autocad to continue figuring out the interior look layout... Anyway,  here are the photos.

I'm hoping so, yes, it will pretty much be a fast (125mph) scooter,  but fully enclosed and gyroscopically balanced to maintain an upright position at standstill and in motion...,😄

Okay,  here's the seat configuration,  based on the film, i will add the details , per film,  even though they will be inside the shell. These photos show the approximate location, once dropped down in, and size of the seat and leg/foot rests... biggest model, ever, lol...
