JT-Graphics 22-inch cutaway TOS Enterprise. Unfortunately had to order 2, so I'll have an extra. Oh well. Really love the crisp sharp detail here. I think it'll really add to the look of this otherwise simple ship.
Also ordered custom decals from JBOT Decals. Supposedly they've shipped to me already so I should have them soon.

Looking good, LFS!

I have ordered parts from JT Graphics before, too, and have been amazed at the crisp detailed parts I have received! They'll make a nice addition to your awesome build!

Steady as she goes!

OK, now I have to know.
1) how did you get the sizing right on the design?
2) how the heck did you draw that design?
3) how the heck did you cut that design?

really awesome work on this one.

You mean the aztec design? I measured the distance across the saucer section and drew a circle that size in Corel draw and spent a fair bit of time trying out different patterns. Corel Draw is a vector program so it's easy to adjust and scale. Once I was happy with what I had I used the big vinyl cutter at my work. (Usually used for car decals, window decals, vinyl signs, etc.) Then it was a case of peel and stick one piece at a time and see if it worked or not.

Been a while since posting anything here. Mostly due to Canadian winter and no longer having a basement to work in. But the weather has warmed up a little so here's some progress updates.
I had a couple issues with masking that will need to be taken care of. But overall I'm pleased with how she's coming along.

Very nice. The saucer looks good, like a destroyer after some time should look like.
