Awesome!

Python is definitely different. Even with other coding languages under my belt, it still took some time to wrap my head around it.

Here is the video playing on screen. Still have to set working resolution and margins on screen. Excuse the crappy camera work.

Construction is done, letting the batteries charge then I will do a video of it in operation. Still have to mount the strap and make the sides fit better. There is a gap on the back that I can't do anything about but I can live with it.

Well done, Cameron! Very well done!

Are you gonna use leather for the strap? Only fitting if you did!

I'm so impressed by this build, I don't know what to say except "Awesomely Fabulous job!"

LLAP!

The strap that came with the kit is a leatherette type material and looks pretty good.
I just have to figure out how to mount it without having to drill holes in the metal sides.
I think I'm going to try Velcro.

Cameron, that is just beautiful!

I am so envious that you can make practical, hero quality Star Trek gear! I would be proud to wear and show that off at a convention somewhere!

Superb work! Outstanding programming and electronic skills!

Well done!

Thank you. I think it's time to get back to a model though. Less brain work involved.
I have an 18 inch TOS Enterprise that's calling me.
