1/1400 Olympic Class USS Pasteur by Starcraft Models
« on: November 02, 2017, 09:59:38 am »
Hi all,

I chose to go with something quite simple as next project and went for the 1/1400 Olympic class USS Pasteur by Starcraft Models. A very simple 3 piece resin kit, the main body one part and two warp nacelles with pylons the other two. I already painted a large part of the main hull. In pic in the background is what I was aiming at. The "hellblau" light blue by Revell turned out to be extremely greenish as you can see, but well I left it as it as. The upper back part needs to be done, and I have to order new decals. The one included desintegrated already insid the box. Luckily there's an online shop in Germany that holds them.

So here are some pics.

Hi,
a small update on the USS Pasteur. I'm almost done with the paintjob. I had a little bad luck with the decals as the german supplier is -as suspected- distrubuting JT Graphics and he can't deliver due to JTs limitations. Fortunately JT has the decals in stock so I ordered them directly at Jeffs. I'm looking forward to receiving them :-)

So next up is the last touch up, clear coat and then I need to think about a display stand.

This is looking good, Manu!

As best I remember, you have a thing for the Medical ships! Didn't you scratch build a TOS era one? Or is my ancient memory failing me?

Sorry about the decals.

Keep going!

Good memory, Steve. I did build this model before this

It's not a mediacal ship, but of course bears resemblance with the ball in front.

I got the Pasteur to accompany the All good things Enterprise thats also in my stash.

Thanks for your kind words. Appreciate it.
