Future + Micro Sol - just need some reassurance ...
« on: December 03, 2017, 09:13:15 am »
Hi everyone,

I applied Micro Sol to the wing decals of my Romulan D7, and after few minutes it began to turn cloudy over the Future gloss coat.
Not on the decals themselves, just where it inevitably ran onto the gloss coat.

I had read somewhere, can't remember where, that it was okay and would go away when the solvent dried and what little was left would disappear
when the second coat of Future would go down.

Sure enough, most of it has gone away in the short time it has been drying. I'll give it a few hours and see if there is any faint
hints left, but I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with this. Would be nice to know before I proceed further with more
applications.

Thanks,
Spencer

Looks like I was just paranoid.

The Micro Sol dried up and all traces of the hazing are gone. There's just a very, very faint line where the edge of the pool was,
but that will be dealt with on the second coat of Future.
