Mounting Rods

Hi all
Just wondering isf someone can point me in the right direction for brass mounting rod upgrades.....how to make or where to buy. I

I don't quite understand your question.

Is this related to the stand as such, or just the rod? It sort of sounds like a complete stand solution issue.

I get most of my brass rods from my local hobby shop or Lowes. I would recommend getting a dremmel if you don't already have one. You can get metal cutting saw blades for them so you can cut the rod to the desired length.

You can also get rods both hollow and solid depending on if you want to light the model or not from hobby websites. Below is an example of one site.
