1/1000 Romulan Bop
« on: December 22, 2017, 01:53:48 pm »
Polar Lights did this one right..this kit just falls together. I did have to putty the seams on the nacelles and a bit around the saucer but nothing major, compaed to the Romulan Battle Cruiser I am working on in tandem with this kit, its an absolute dream.

I am planning on painting her in some kind of metallic with black chrome exhaust ports, just have to decide

I have two of these.

Will probably be an "in between build", something therapeutic ... Nice to know the fit is good.

Was thinking about an "Enterprise Incident" diorama the other day ...

Hi all, decided to dust this one off and get back to work on it.

I finished up the few seams it had, primed and started laying down some color.

Paint went down a little rough so I decided to try something new, I buffed it with some gun barrel cleaning patches that I had that are very mildly abrasive and it definatly smoothed the finish out a lot.

almost ready for gloss coat :)

Hi all, its been a while since posted anything on my BOP, I didn't want to bore you with some of my painting woes , got those mostly sorted out.

got the new base color down, painted the warp exhaust a nice silver and hit it with several coats of gloss.

I think I am ready for decals :)
