1/537 and 1/1000 Reliant builds
« on: January 01, 2018, 10:44:12 am »
Hey all! First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Second, I am looking to build both the 1/537 and 1/1000 scale Reliant models in the new year and am wanting to try my hand at aztecing and am wondering which paints to use. I want the pearlescent look that I have seen so many of you do. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jazzy, plenty of time to worry the aztecing while building.  Lots of different choices in these threads and online regarding color selections.  For me, I went with two grays that were really close in shade and used Aztec Dummy paint masks.  Not sure about masks for the 1/1000, but it is possible to make your own.  If you need some vinyl masking material I have literally yards to spare.
