Completed models 2017
« on: January 12, 2018, 05:58:32 am »
Hi all,

Thought I'd best upload some photos of the models I completed (or got close to completing) in 2017.

I have a habit of starting new models while working on others, so I'm quite pleased in retrospect that I actually finished some! Still quite new to the hobby, as I only started in 2016, but I am loving it!

Hope you like - and if you want any progress shots of any of the builds, please let me know and I'll try and upload them to the correct bit of the forum. And of course, any constructive criticism is welcome too! you've got to learn :)

Those are some great builds. My Sulaco is still setting in its box unpainted. I have not been able to decide how to paint it. I like how you painted yours.

Wow, thanks for all the kind words guys! I really appreciate your comments, it makes me feel like I'm on the right track :)

Macupar - cheers, I stole the lit base idea off someone on this site, and for the aztec pattern I used some of the Orbital Drydock random masks from the JJ-Prise set. It's a lovely kit to build, just a bit small in the end.

ImWolf - thanks! I learned everything I know off FichtenFoo on his you tube Falcon tutorials. Oil washes are really great for beginners like me, as you can make lots of mistakes and then clean them up!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been internet less for a while now, but should be back up and running now.

thanks again everyone!
Pete

Those are sweet. I especially dig the APC and Land Raider.
