Been working on this build at half impulse. I added wings to the turbo lift, added pads and closed in the gap between the armrest and the back of Kirk's chair, and modified the helm by shortening distance between the astrogator and the main control panel an adding some styrene to the front column to make it more screen accurate. Thanks for looking!

Looking good, Malleman!

The detail is really good!

Just one question, the Astrogator, the control panel between where Sulu and Chekov sit, isn't it supposed to be wedge shaped instead of square?!

It's probably the kit's fault. It is, after all, and AMT kit. :)

Keep going!

A little burnt out on working on the bridge, I decided to start making the base. I could not decide which way I wanted to go at first, but after reviewing other builds I decided to make the outside shell of the command bridge. I started with a hat box I found at Hobby Lobby, then cut some supports and paper mached news paper around the frame. After a lot of sanding  and applying more paper mache I am starting to get somewhere.  Still along way to go!
