Hello everyone
« on: February 28, 2018, 03:07:08 pm »
I have been working on models since I was 4 years old in 1975 my grandpa gave me a snap together police car. I enjoy building models but I recently got my first airbrush and was wondering what paints to use on the 1/350 refit enterprise with my aztec masks and how to get it looking like it does in the movies. Also this will be my first attempt at lighting a model for the first time.

Hi MeGaTrOn46! Welcome!
I'm new here too. And doing a refit build as well.
Here's a link to Boyd's thread where I think they go into a very long discussion about the aztec colors. Enjoy!

I remember childhood memories, being the scent of tube glue and Humbrol tin paints. :D

Painting propeller blades was the most interesting thing, important to add the yellow tips and all. Did not have any masking tape at the time, so painting the yellow tips was tricky.

Welcome to the forums Megatron....

If you're starting out by building a 1/350 refit you are much braver than I!!!

Have fun....   ;b

Just think of what my life might be.....   In a world like I have seen!
