Masking the shuttlebay on 1/350 refit
« on: April 19, 2018, 06:46:55 pm »
Hey all,
I am getting close to begin painting on my 1/350 Enterprise Refit model and had a quick question: when painting the exterior of the secondary hull, how should I go about masking the shuttlebay? I'm concerned with getting paint over my shuttlebay floor and into the bay itself.

Thanks!
Neil

Put some masking tape over the shuttlebay doors and use some blu-tac to hold it on and paint. That's how I do it.

Scott.

I thought about that but with the kit part being a different curve than the shuttlebay floor I thought it might not work. Thanks! I'll give it a go.
