Fiber Optics Question - Attn: Simon Mercs
« on: April 30, 2018, 08:57:53 am »
So I'm watching Simon Mercs series on the Jupiter 2 build, and I was fascinated by how he hooked up all the individual strands of fiber optics.  He then clipped them flush to the surface.

Here's my question:  Why didn't they fall out - falling back or easily pulled out of the pinhole that they fill?  This was missing, and I'm not sure how it's accomplished.

Thanks for answering!

I usually secure then with some PVA glue on the inside before cutting, don't use CA though as it makes the fibres brittle.
