The past month has been a real nightmare but luckily working on the kit a little has been a good way to keep my mind off of all the stressful stuff.

Weathered some of the new parts

Planning on using some of the Tamiya weathering powder after the new coat of paint dries

It's all starting to come together!

Got the radiator parts put together

They won't be really visible on the finished kit but I weathering the parts anyways.

The radiator has nicely molded detail and a coat of a lighter colored paint really helps the detail pop-out from the all black parts.

I guess some crazy detail should be expected with a kit this size.  Looking good.

I might have missed it, but is the chassis metal?

It sure is. What I have built so far is pretty heavy. Suppose to weight over 20 lbs when done!

You're telling me. With the interior installed it's now pretty hefty to move from the shelf to the table...

I thought the same thing at first. They seemed to have added lots of details that they probably didn't need to add. The radiator fans are a nice touch I'll admit.

But check out the interior details...

I found out the seats are made of vinyl with a foam backing so that they actually feel like real seats
