Adhesion promoter

I was recently watching one of Trekworks superb videos. He talks about something called an adhesion promoter for his models .Firstly what is a hood one available in the UK. Secondly when do you use it.and how.

Hi Viz,

I used it on my Hasbro Falcon as a base coat to help the paint stick to the plastic as normal primer and paint kept peeling off.

I got mine from B&Q but Halfords also sell it.

I think its part of the Rust-Oleum range of spray paints they do.

Try using the duplicolor brand adhesion promoter.  you can get it at any auto parts store.

its a little bit more money but it never fails
