Photoetch /Micro Kristal klear /canopy glue
« on: July 16, 2018, 12:15:11 am »
Foes anyone know if micro Kristal lear and Canopy glue can be used to glue photoetch parts? I have a situation where i have to place decals over photoetch but i need to fill the Windows in the Photoetch before applying the decals . I thought i would kill 2 birds with one stone.

I do not think it would be a good glue for adhering photoetched brass to plastic.  I think it would be just fine for filling in the windows.

I have not put decals over windows made with Kristal Klear or Canopy glue.  The concern that I would have would be the water interacting with the stuff.  Of course, if you coat it with a clearcoat before applying decals that should be enough.
