Thanks Steve
You're very kind. I'm getting there - got most of the lighting installed in the Bridge and started installing it into the neck. I'll take some pics later but will post them when it's all done. BTW, what does *SMH* mean? I'm not as up to date with my acronyms as I thought...

Ah thanks for that Dave. It's a lot cleaner than I had in my head I'll be honest
I did a lighting test tonight of the bridge and I am happy with how it turned out. I made a number of mistakes on the internals and had numerous electrical issues but I got there in the end.
I've also been cutting away at the body to accommodate the fibers. I've actually finished the whole top but just haven't taken any pics yet because it's not daylight
Anyway, I just wanted to share the results of the lighting. I'm really happy with how it came out.
Till next time

That bridge looks fantastic. I love the red lights peppered around.

2 days back and I have already pretty much finished the bridge and neck section. I'll run a light grey wash over it once everything has dried and sealed proper. There are still a couple of sections I need to hand brush to bring up to spec.
I'll take some lit shots once I have connected the remaining fiber optics.
That's it for now. I have to finish painting the big antenna in the middle as well as replace all the broken projections on the shield generators but I'll do that once the bridge is attached to the body
As always, thanks for looking

That looks awesome. The added details make a hell of a difference when sprayed up.

Thanks very much guys - and a happy new year to you as well
I made a start on the top roof and side walls last night and am progressing as usual
I finally took delivery of my LED strips which arrived 2 days after I left for holidays etc. and I will be using your method of lighting the hangar bay Guns - thanks so much for that incredibly useful idea
Cheers again guys

Si,
This is some EXCELLENT work! (Happy New Year, BTW!)
I am always amazed at how clean and precise your builds are! This is the standard for which I strive!
Keep going!
