Backlit display question

I am wanting to do a backlit display panel on the base for my next model, can anyone suggest what i might use to print this on?

Same as above...

After letting it dry overnight, I sealed the print with clear matt spray and sandwiched it between two sheets of perspex for my D base and it looks good!

A standard color inkjet works fine unless you get laser paper then a color laser printer.
The paper I showed you is for inkjet. I use an HP Photosmart printer with it.
