Thanks for the links to the YT channels. Lots of good info and model work can be found on all of them.
Model man Tom is a good friend and I can't think of a better guy to go to when you need lighting stuff for your build.
Always gets me my stuff fast and his prices are hard to beat. I've become hooked on the LED tape he carries.
It is so easy to work with and you can light almost anything with it. Sure beats wiring tons of LED's and resistors.
If It's a model kit, I like it already.

I'm a big Steve Neill fan myself. I've learned a lot about scratchbuilding (and general modeling) from his VLOGS.

I already follow model man Tom. I think I'll check out the other suggested links tomorrow.

I love Steve Neill's work also, if you haven't seen his 50 part video about the making the the 'BIG E' your really missing out.  The first video should be here
Darkuboot's YouTube Channel

If I may add some none scifi related modelling channels.

I'm a big fan of Dr. Cranky and his custom cars from his Lab-RAT-ory
Dr. Cranky's YouTube Channel

And if you want to see some awesome air brushing and hand painting check out BuyPainted, he does gaming minatures but there is much to learn from watching his videos.
